The Phoenix Mountain Preserve is the backyard of Crown Canyon. Situated on more than 7000 acres with more than 100 trails, the preserve is home to some of the most beautiful parks and peaks in the Sonoran Desert with encapsulating views of Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, and Phoenix. Owners in Crown Canyon will enjoy private access to the preserve on a trail exclusively gated for Crown Canyon residents. The second highest peak in the mountain preserve after Camelback Mountain is Piestewa Peak, with its highest point reaching 2,608 feet. The challenging summit trail is situated just West of Crown Canyon and offers an excellent morning challenge with 360-degree views of the city. Along the way you may enjoy the floral wildlife of statuesque Saguaros and impressive Ocotillos or get carried away on a less traveled route in the preserve.
